Christmas Smoked Texas Prime Rib
Ingredients
Prime Rib Roast
Rub(s) of Choice
Aluminum Foil
Royal Oak Charcoal
Royal Oak Tumbleweeds
Directions
- Light grill with Royal Oak Charcoal and Tumbleweeds. Let the smoker reach a temp of 225 to 250 degrees.
- Allow prime rib to get to room temperature.
- Liberally coat prime rib with rub(s) of choice.
- Place prime rib on the grill and smoke to an internal temperature of 125 for a medium rare cook. Smoke until you reach your desired level of doneness.
- Remove the prime rib from the smoker, loosely wrap in foil and allow the meat to rest for at least 30 minutes.
- Slice, serve, and enjoy!
