Marinated Chicken and Steak Tacos



tortillas (corn or flour)

1 pound marinated  chicken

1 pound marinated steak

1 green bell pepper

1 red bell pepper

queso fresco

Pico De Gallo


1 medium jalapeno, thinly sliced

2 garlic cloves, finely chopped

1/4 cup coarsely chopped cilantro

1/4 cup lime juice

1/4 cup olive oil

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

3/4 teaspoon ground cumin

Pico De Gallo:

3 yellow or red onions

12 Roma tomatoes

2 cups fresh cilantro leaves

2 to 3 jalapenos

1 lime

salt to taste


Marinade & Tacos: 

1.Mix ingredients for marinade in a bowl and coat steak and chicken.

2.Cover and put in the fridge for 2+ hours.

3.Slice peppers and onions.

4.Cook steak and chicken on the grill. Cook chicken until 165 internal temp and steak to 135 internal temp.

5. Saute peppers and onions in a grill pan with olive oil.

6. Toast tortillas on the grill.

7.Add toppings to tortillas and enjoy!


Pico De Gallo:

1.Dice onions, tomatoes and jalapenos.

2. Finely chop cilantro.

3.Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well blended.

4.Squeeze the lime juice and stir.

5.Cover and put in the fridge until ready to serve.
