Robert Sierra is the founder, head cook, and face of the S&S Pit Crew in San Marcos, Texas. What started as a family activity with his father and brother in 2005 has grown into an internationally-recognized crew of family and friends with over 15 Grand and Reserve Championships.
As a true Texan, Robert is proud to travel the USA and Mexico showcasing Texas BBQ. When he’s not competing, Robert is a frequent cookbook contributor, product pitchman, and television guest. In 2016, Robert visited Jimmy Kimmel live, where he smoked ribs and shared his BBQ-sauce expertise with Kimmel. He has also appeared on local newscasts in Texas and Tennessee.
