Equipment & Fuel

Directions

1. Preheat the smoker

Fill your pellet smoker hopper with Royal Oak 100% Charcoal and Hickory Blended Pellets and preheat to 300°F (149°C).

2. Season the chicken

Generously season all sides of the chicken breasts with The “CRAIN” Attraction Ranch All Purpose Seasoning.

3. Smoke the chicken

Place the chicken directly on the grill grates and smoke until the internal temperature reaches 165–170°F (74–77°C).

4. Rest and shred

Remove the chicken from the smoker and let it rest for 5–10 minutes, then shred.

5. Sauce the chicken

Toss the shredded chicken with 1 cup of BBQ sauce until evenly coated.

6. Increase the heat

Raise the smoker temperature to 325°F (163°C).

7. Build the sliders

Place the bottom slider buns on a greased baking sheet. Layer 8 slices of provolone evenly over the buns, then top with the BBQ chicken. Sprinkle with crispy fried onions, add the remaining 8 slices of cheese, and place the top buns on.

8. Butter the tops

Mix the melted butter with 1 tablespoon of The “CRAIN” Attraction seasoning, then brush evenly over the tops of the slider buns.

9. Finish on the smoker

Cover loosely with foil and place back on the smoker for 10–12 minutes. Remove the foil and cook an additional 5–10 minutes until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.

10. Serve

Remove from the smoker, slice, and serve immediately.
