Oklahoma Chicken Wings and Green Chile Cheddar Waffle
Ingredients
Green Chili Cheddar Waffles:
- 2 boxes Jiffy Corn Bread Mix
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs – beaten
- ½ cup sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup fire-roasted green chili
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- KosmosQ Texas Beef
Chicken Wings:
- Chicken Wings
- KosmosQ Dirty Bird Hot
- Cornstarch – to make extra crispy
Equipment & Fuel

- Royal Oak® Tumbleweeds
- Charcoal Grill
- Small Bowl
- Spatula
- Cutting Board
- Aluminum Pan
- Waffle Maker
Directions
1. Coat your wings with KosmosQ Dirty Bird Hot or your favorite wing seasoning.
2. Use a liberal coat of cornstarch. (the cornstarch will make your wings extra crispy and perfect for this recipe.)
3. Light the grill using Royal Oak® 100% All Natural and Royal Oak® Tumbleweeds.
4. Wings, set the grill at about 300 degrees for a 2-zone fire.
4. Place the wings over the cooler side of your grill.
5. While those are cooking, mix all the ingredients for your Green Chili Cheddar Waffles.
6. When the chicken wings are almost done, start making your waffles. Pull them out when they are crispy.
7. Pile the chicken wings on top of your green chili cheddar waffle, and cover with KosmosQ Maple Bourbon Rib Glaze. Enjoy!
