Tomahawk steak

Olive oil

Rubs of choice

Stick of butter

1.5 TBS garlic  rub

1 TBS minced garlic

Fresh pepper


Tomahawk steak

1.Coat steak with olive oil and rubs of choice.

2.Set up two zone grill.

3.Make compound butter. Mix butter, minced garlic, garlic powder and pepper. Wrap in parchment paper and put in the fridge.

4.Cook on cool side until internal temp is 115 degrees.

5.Put pats of butter on top of the steak. Let rest in foil.

6.With the grill good and hot, sear each side. Cook until internal temperature is 125 to 130 degrees.

7.Let rest 10 minutes.

8.Wrap the steak in foil with pads of butter.

9.Let rest 10 to 15 minutes. Enjoy!
