How To Grill Vegetables

  1. Prepare the vegetables: Choose your favorite vegetables for grilling, such as bell peppers, zucchini, eggplant, onions, or mushrooms. Wash and cut the vegetables into even-sized pieces.
  2. Light the charcoal and preheat the grill to medium-high heat, around 375-400°F.
  3. Season the vegetables: Toss the vegetables in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any other desired seasonings or herbs.
  4. Grill the vegetables: Place the vegetables directly on the grill grates over the charcoal. Pro tip: Use a grill basket to place the vegetables in so they are easy to handle and cooks evenly.
  5. Cook the vegetables, turning occasionally, until they are tender and have grill marks, usually about 8-10 minutes.
  6. Serve and enjoy: Once the vegetables are cooked to your desired level of doneness, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  7. You can serve them as a side dish, in salads, or as a topping for sandwiches or burgers.
