Oklahoma Jalapeno Cream Cheese Wantons

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs spicy sausage
  • 2 8oz packs of cream cheese
  • 1 pack wonton wrappers
  • 1 red bell pepper chopped
  • 1 8oz pack mushrooms
  • 1 small yellow onion chopped
  • 3 jalapenos chopped
  • 8 oz crushed pineapple
  • 1 tbsp Kosmos SPG
  • 1 bottle Kosmos Q Pineapple Heat Rib Glaze

Directions

1. Preheat your grill to 350 – 400 degrees.

2. Brown the sausage in a pan on the grill. Spice with SPG rub or rub of choice.

3. Move the sausage (when cooked) to a large mixing bowl.

4. Saute the veggies in the pan until soft. Spice with SPG rub or rub of choice.

5. Add the vegetables, pineapple, and cream cheese to the mixing bowl with the sausage. Mix until combined.

6. Line muffin pan with wonton wrappers and fill each with filling – about one large spoonful (tablespoon).

7. Smoke on grill until wontons get slightly crispy brown. About ten minutes or until lightly browned.

8. Pull from grill and let rest for 5 min before serving.

9. Drizzle with Kosmos Q Pineapple Heat Rib Glaze or sauce of choice. Enjoy!
