Texas Twinky Wontons

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Leftover Brisket
  • 2 Blocks Cream Cheese
  • 3 Jalapenos
  • 1 Package of Wonton Wrappers
  • 2 TBL Favorite Rub
  • 1/4 Cup Favorite BBQ Sauce

Directions

1. Deseed and devein 3 jalapenos and chop roughly.
2. Chop 1 lb of leftover brisket (mix flat and point half and half).
3. Add 2 blocks of softened cream cheese to a bowl, then add jalapeno, and chopped brisket to the cream cheese and mix thoroughly.
4. Once mixed, add up to 2 tbsp. of your favorite rub (use whatever rub is used on the Brisket), and mix again.
5. Take a muffin tin and spray heavily with cooking spray.
6. Put the wonton in a muffin tin, pushing evenly till the wonton is fully seated in the muffin tin.
7. Scoop 1.5 tbsp. of brisket, cream cheese, and jalapeno mixture to each wonton.
8. Give another light spray of cooking spray and preheat the grill to 400 degrees.
9. Light a full chimney of Royal Oak All Natural Briquettes, and lay them in a nice even layer. Once lit adjust your vents till you reach 400 degrees.
10. Place the muffin tin over the coals and close the lid, rotating the muffin tin every 2-3 minutes to ensure even cooking.
11. After 5-7 minutes wontons should be crispy and ready to serve.
12. Remove wontons from muffin tin lightly drizzle your favorite BBQ sauce and serve immediately.
13. Spray the muffin tin with cooking spray and repeat the process.

This is a fast easy appetizer for a party that is always a hit!!!
