Duce Raymond is the Managing Partner and Culinary Director at SBR Events Group, home of Sweet Baby Ray’s Catering. Growing up, he was always in and around the restaurant and catering industry. His upbringing in the industry led him to earning a 4-year degree from Kendall College where he contributed in the opening of numerous restaurants. He used this time & experience to hone & master his wide range of culinary skills.

In the last 10 years, as the leader of the Duce’s Wild Competition BBQ Team, Duce has won over 70 local, regional and national awards. His specialties include Southern and Central American cuisine and, of course, barbecue– which he has perfected at such recognized events and venues as the Taste of Chicago, the Naperville Ribfest, and the Wrigley Field (home of the Chicago Cubs) rooftops.

Recently, through the widely recognized Sweet Baby Ray’s Catering, Duce has begun to educate the masses on popular barbecue trends, techniques, and tricks of the trade on the popular weekly TikTok show, “Barbecue Like a Boss.” In just over a year, Duce has managed to reach over 300K followers with his 60+ episodes of the show.
