- Frequent guest chef on NBC’s TODAY and regular celebrity guest or judge on Food Network shows like Beat Bobby Flay, Kitchen Expedition, Battle of the Brothers, and Kitchen Crash.
- Both an award-winning pitmaster and classically-trained fine-dining chef, with experience at Del Posto.
- Raised in a tight-knit Lebanese-Italian family in Upstate New York, celebrating his diverse upbringing through globally-inspired barbecue recipes.
- Co-authored the Pig Beach BBQ Cookbook with partner Shane McBride (HarperCollins, May 2022), featured in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today.
Accomplishments:
- 1st Place Poultry and 2nd Place Whole Hog at the 2015 Memphis in May World Championship, in his team’s very first appearance
- Burger Bash “People’s Choice” award at the NYC Wine & Food Festival (2016, 2019) and South Beach Wine & Food Festival (2021)
- Two additional “Heinz Best-Dressed Burger” titles at South Beach Wine & Food Festival, completing the triple crown
