Richard Fergola’s journey into the world of BBQ began in the kitchen learning how to prepare family favorites with his mom and grandmother. His love of Italian food opened the door and led him to his current obsession with smoke and fire. Today he still carries on the family secrets and has found a way to stay true to his roots.
Richard’s passion and determination has helped him succeed in BBQ competitions and festivals around the country every year. His commitment and desire to be the best in BBQ led him establish Fergolicious BBQ, which received national recognition from the Kansas City Barbecue Society.
Richard also teaches both backyard and competition BBQ classes all around the world and has his own line of rubs sold world-wide.
